I was hoping someone would point out that it's absurd to call multibooting OSs the same as running multiple OSs simultaneously.

A friend of mine has it on her new Macbook, it's awesome. She flicks over to Windows solely to play games. Even Apple mention it on their 'touche' commercial now instead of Boot Camp. It seems like the best solution to using Windows on the Mac by far, although it doesn't run as quickly as boot camp as you're sharing the system resources.

Isn't there still a limit on how well it runs DirectX/OpenGL graphics, making Parallels a bad option if you want to run games?
A friend of mine (Dawson in Naked War) is using Parallels to run Naked War on his Macbook. Dunno how it runs, but he seems pretty happy with it.
Just curious here, but does bootcamp use an emulation system like Parallels when you boot your system up as XP, or does it actually make full use of your hardware?
Been thinking of picking up a laptop for college use when I get out of high-score, and Apple's got some pretty damn nice looking ones.

Genexi2: BootCamp makes full use of the system (no emulation or OS X running in the background), just like it was a Windows machine. The only thing lacking as far as I know are drivers for the built in camera in the MacBook and one or two other drivers, don't remember which. That will probably be fixed in the future. Note that BootCamp is still in beta.
