Anyone want to donate a song ?

I have just put together a 'proof of concept' Flash widget for a client and need some MP3s (preferably with ID3 tags embedded) that are royalty-free to work with it.

If anyone would like a bit of exposure for their music, please send a tune or two via email. You might try putting your website details in the 'Artist' tag.

I am especially interested to know if tunes 'autoplay' when you click the buttons... It seems that if the download is slow they require a second click (after reaching 100%) to begin playback. On another machine clicking a button opens a Download Dialog... etc.

Feedback on Linux, Mac, Firefox, Safari, etc. also happily received.

Actually yes... made it up impromptu... I suppose I should confess that last year I was nominated for Poet Laureate of Texas.

Another useless skill.... You see in the 20 years I have been writing poetry I have managed tobe published at least once a year...

If I added up ALL I made in cash (and if I added what they paid in "copies" instead of cash) I think I could probably just now treat my wife to a nice dinner at a decent restaraunt in Houston (zagat 3+ stars) Which is why i work and I program... More money in Video Games than poems.

OK, consider this a bump - anyone else want to donate some MP3s for demonstration purposes. {It is quite likely that they will remain in the showcase once the real site goes live - at least for a few months - unless you tell me to remove them.} The tracks Jams supplied were quite large (~6-7 Mb) so I would like some quite small ones as well in order to check out the problem of slow downloads not auto-starting.
