Well, the day is coming when E3 is right around the corner. Having said that, what do you feel are going to be the highlights, lowlights, best games of E3, worst games, etc...? What do you feel they'll reveal about the Revolution or the PS3? What new games are going to be released for the X360? Just some predictions, opinions, and thoughts of the upcoming E3 will do. There are plenty of opinions circulating around, but I feel that this may be a great year for E3 at that.

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Any thoughts or opinions on the upcoming E3? One thing I think we can say for certain... there will be ALOT of prerendered videos showing off what the PS3/Xbox360/Revolution can do with upcoming "next-gen" games.
Ps3 will be overly hyped, Xbox360 will try to overdo it and set up a massive stage show w/Steve Ballmer running around like a monkey (again).

The Japanese computer show in September in Tokyo is where it's all at. Not E3.
I'm just looking forward to the Revolution news. I don't think PS3 is overhyped ... as far as I can tell most next gen games will look about as good as what was shown last year. Fight Night Round 3 on 360 for example looks just as good as what was shown ... and what was shown of Fight Night at last years E3 looked just about as good as anything else. Still, graphics aren't going to do it anymore and neither will physics or anything else. Now is the time for new ways to interface with all the cool graphics and physics. I think Nintendo's got the right idea and I hope reports of fun come back to me from this year's show ;)
I'm not really interested in E3. I've been several times, and it really is just a hype machine. All the good stuff usualy filters out elsewhere. I think all the next gen systems will be good.
I am curious about the nintendo system, but am not really the kind of person that finds sitting in front of the TV and acting like a retard fun. So if it just ends up being a gimmick as shown in the promo videos I'll probably give it a miss.
As for the other two, they are supposed to be comparable in capabilities, with one or the other having a slight edge here and there. I think were just going to have to judge them by the games. I don't like Japanese games really, they miss the mark with me and are generaly more traditionaly arcade oriented. Xbox tends to hit a nice spot somewhere between computer gaming and console games which I tend to like better.

Well, the PS3 isn't quite overhyped, but I certainly don't want to spend $500 on that if a Celeron-based PC would only run that much. I see that Revolution won't have the technology advantage over the other two, but it will, however, bring the Nintendo spirit back to where it rightfully belongs. I would, for one, consider what the Revolution can actually be capable of. There should be some great games for that, and that's going to have a great interest in those who live on Mario products.

Personally, I have my eye on Supreme Commander.
I won't be too surprised if it is the best PC game on show. But I must point out I wasted the best years of my life playing Total Annihilation and have been waiting for Chris Taylor's sequel for 9 years, so I might be biased.

Some time before I heard from this community that the babies or the models? are going to be missed from this meetting of the to much money companies. What they are going to sow us? What money can do?
I just hope that whatever wins the best game of the show is more than a pretty piece of FMV.
