Freeware IP sale?

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Freeware IP sale?

Does anyone have some Blitz3D/BlitzMax freeware they'd like to transfer or sell the rights to? Please post links so I can check them out.

I wonder how many you will get? I always found it difficult to get people to sell their code/abandoned projects.

If there is anything decent - I'll outbid anyone.

I'm sure there's got to be a few people willing to split with their code/resources for some money. As for you outbidding me ... we'll see about that!

What exactly are you looking for?

I think Puki just wants a premade 3D RPG he can slap his name on and release ;c) (and I don't blame him) lol

Any game which might not be fully polished for sale, but could be given away and would be fairly compelling. Nothing spectacular but something that could be viewed as a complete game or nearly complete game ... lacking a lot of the extra polish of something you'd sell.

A good example ... I made a game Enigma-X 4 years ago. It's a complete game ... but it really couldn't be sold as is (although I tried back then). You probably remember it ... made a pretty big stink on the forums because I got chewed out for trying to sell it.

"L_Draven" has loads of RPG media - I think he best hand it over to me - he probably can't program anyways.

Make him an offer he can't refuse...

Yes you could always substitute the horse's head for a bitten off piece of sausage roll !

I'd like to see Wandering Knights as a finished, polished product :D

See the link to Viper in my sig below. It's BlitzBasic (but presumably would compile in b3d too). I suck at gfx, and it's hardly an inventive game, but I still get the odd email saying how people enjoy it. I keep toying with porting it to 'max myself (and would quite like to do so), but would need gfx to have any motivation to do so.

my game surviving is up for bid ;)
anyone up for a price

Hey dude, that was a really great game and a lot of fun.

The only stuff I make is freeware, a couple of games are available from here:

http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~gezeder/lloyd/

however my webspace at that address is changing very soon so if you want it grab what you want from it now Jeremy.

(reason I make everything freeware is it would be just plain wrong to charge for my stuff - if I can buy a copy of Medieval Total War/Quake 3/Combat Mission for $9.95 Australian Dollars at my local game store I don't think I could justify selling my own stuff at any price...)

I've got a couple of IPs I'd be willing to sell. The first, Earth Defender, is freeware and actually gets huge amounts of d/ls. The second, Squelch, is shareware but I'm pretty fed up with all the hassle of trying to sell stuff. Anyway check 'em out.
