Buying a new graphics card

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Buying a new graphics card

I`m on a really tight budget but I would like to get a new graphics card that is better than my old Geforce4TI 4600 one. Can anybody suggest a decent cheap buy that will make a marked difference or should I stick with my current card for now?

I`ve seen a ATI Radeon 9550 256MB Connect 3D AGP Graphics Card for around £50. Would this be a good choice over my current card?

Jason.

You're looking for the XFX GeForce 6200 256MB near the bottom of the page. One advantage over the ATI 9550 is shader model 3.0 support. Speeds between the two cards are not too dissimiler.

Being a staunch Nvidia fan, I can't recommend the ATI card ;)
