Graphics card?

I've got an Athlon XP 2800+ (2.2GHz), with 1GB of RAM and a GeForce FX5500 256MB AGP, FSB@333MHz.
Now, Oblivion crawls at about 5 FPS. My brother got approximately the same setup, except he has a GeForce FX6600 256MB (also AGP), and FSB@266MHz and it runs pretty smoothly.
From what I see on oblivionportal.com is that the FX5500 is not supported for Oblivion.
Anyone got a spare AGP graphics card that is better than this, and is supported by the game, and they are looking to sell it?

The Fx series is supported, but they arent doing all that well.
(I think its only 5700 and up thats supported)

ive heard of few tweaks you might look for,
(Using coolbits reg patch or Riva tuner)
Put the cards render ahead setting to 0
also you can turn off Specular in the Oblivion.ini
that should save a pass.

Hmmm thanks!

I played around with the settings in the .ini and made it to a framerate which is enjoyable, but lost all form of lighting beside ambient lighting.
I forced 1x shaders, disabled multipass, diffuse light and specular light, also disabled trees and a few other things. I tried to turn on just diffuse light and it looks like @#!* and it slowed down a lot anyways (uses parallax/bump/normal/dot3/whatever mapping). But, it crashes sometimes :S
I really have to get a new card.

i have an fx5900 you can have for £60+postage...comes with free games and stuff
