What ever became of the DX7 DLL?

Is there any more news on this great DLL?

Has it grown up yet to an extent where its naming convention feels more finished?
Currently it says test all over the place, so I am hesitent to use it in anything big, even though it seems to work great!

hm yes the source would be interesting. would make a useful community project, i think.
