Michael Jackson wrote music to Sonic 3
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Michael Jackson wrote music to Sonic 3
Alledgedly anyway.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbVM-l2Oku4It would certainly explain why the music was better in Sonic 1 and 2 and also why some tracks were replaced (for the better) in the Sonic & Knuckles cartridge combination. :)
... and? so what? Metallica did the YOU'RE GOING TO HELL song playing when kenny dies and gets denied access to heaven in the South Park Movie...
and the beach boys ripped off sweat little sixteen for surfin usa...
Every body wants to dance with, surfin usa.
Everybodies gone surfin, sweat little sixteen.
you can say what you want about him... but he had some damn good music.
yes... and because he wrote good music that should exclude him from normal justice and allow him to widen the holes of as many young boys as possible.... its only fair after what he gave all of us.
You forgot the 'IMO' in your post, kanati. :)
There's not a single MJ song that does anything for me.
"ow! touch my naughty bits" (that was an MJ impression not a comment related to anyone's post)
"According to the news, Michael Jackson is broke and can't even afford the payroll at Neverland Ranch. So the next time you see Michael with his hands in a 12-year-old's pocket, he might just be looking for lunch money." --Jay Leno
Well aside from any of that, Michael Jackson 'made' the pop music world, he was the innovator.
shhhh... don't say anything good about MJ enay... Dampes8n has a personal vendetta against him evidently.
I'm just saying that regardless of what great musical achievments MJ made... he raped a large number of small boys... that trumps it all...
shhhh... don't say anything good about MJ enay... Dampes8n has a personal vendetta against him evidently.
Because dampe8n was rejected by michael
probably cos he's T-total and wouldn't drink the "cola" ;-)
he raped a large number of small boys
Too bad our courts of law didn't have the evidence against him that you apparently possess. I believe someone is innocent until proven guilty, but that's the difference between me and someone who has already convicted the man, based on claims made by people seeking millions of dollars in settlement.
Damps8n's probably feeling all happy now that MJ is near enough finnished.
Even though MJ was found innocent it hasn't stopped the damage that can be caused just by being accused of something so terrible. Even though innocent, MJ has still payed the price for his kindness and generosity to people who were less privelaged than him.
Shame you're not his type :)
I love Michael. And I couldn't care less about his personal life. Who's bad?
Gary Glitter?
Metallica did the YOU'RE GOING TO HELL song playing when kenny dies and gets denied access to heaven in the South Park Movie...
which is a great little song by the way (((listening to it now...)))
Well aside from any of that, Michael Jackson 'made' the pop music world, he was the innovator.
Pop music was around long before Michael Jackson was. I was never a big fan of his music, but I will say that "Human Nature" is one of my all-time favorite songs ;c) I also used to love watching the Jackson 5 cartoons, they were cool. Umm... I just showed my age again :c/
An I suppose OJ didn't kill his Ex Wife.
They got off cause they are rich, and confused the jury enough that they couldn't know for sure if they did it or not. Thats all.
MJ has been accused of this several times, and regardless of wether he ever touched a boy in a bad place, he did other things that would damage a young boy for a very long time... and there is no way I beleive he didn't rape those boys... He fits the profile of a pedophile to the T... and people who fit that profile this well come in 2 flavors.. the ones who do and the ones who watch.
Regardless of guilty or not, what I dislike about it is seeking multi million dollar payouts. If it were my child I'd not care about the money at all, my priority would be a huge jail sentence, not a huge bank account.
They got off cause they are rich
You got that bit wrong... MJ is in total debt!
Ah, at least he didnt write any of the tunes I actually liked in sonic 3...hydro city act 2 is da best :D
I really liked Michael Jackson's music as a kid (no joke intended).
Personally, I don't believe he did molest any young boys.
On topic, yeah those songs are uncanny.
An I suppose OJ didn't kill his Ex Wife.
You throwin stones there DampeS8N?
Remember when I offered to host pics for people and you accused me of wanting to steal them?
Perhaps the world is bigger than the monocle you see it through?!?
I blame his parents for the way he turned out! Maybe if they give him a childhood when he was a child, he may not act the way he does now!
Though, that cannot condone for the things he's accused of (If he has done them mind)
Everyone perceives a different picture, some people think he's innocent, some don't... I personally don't think he is innocent (And law courts are'nt perfect), but that's my view!
OT: They are good choons
Dabz
An I suppose OJ didn't kill his Ex Wife.
OJ was found guilty in civil court of being responsible for the death of his wife.
Dark Half... I never accused you of anything. I don't remember the details, but I am fairly sure what I said was that you -could- be a theif. Meaning, there was nothing to show people that you weren't one. Which would explain people's hesitation to trust you.
And colin is exactly right. It was mainly his father who turned him (and his siblings) into a freakshow. However, MJ exhibits all the signs of being a pedophile. He doesn't just show a few of the signs... he shows them all, in great amounts. From surrounding himself with things kids like to gain their trust, to secret rooms in his house...
http://www.mental-health-matters.com/articles/article.php?artID=273There is a list of bullets on that page that describes more. (many of those bullets can't be known about MJ however)
Also, the US court system is designed to let criminals go in favor of not putting innocent people in jail. Most people who are brought to court are guilty, don't pretend like the police don't know what they are doing. TV shows don't give an accurate portrait of how guilty most people who are brought into court are. The police don't waste time trying to put someone who they don't KNOW are guilty in jail, and their fame has no effect, or a canceling effect on the system.
Guilty people get off all the time, as they should to keep the innocent ones out of jail. Even then, some innocent people go to jail. The courts don't do a very good job of putting criminals in jail, they do a good job of letting the best lawyer in the room win.
There is no doubt, when faced with all the evidence that was presented during the trial, that MJ is guilty. The jury was just lead to believe that he might not have done it, which in turn means MJ should go free.
That doesn't make him innocent.
OJ is a prime example, found innocent in the criminal trial, but guilty in the civil trial. Why? Cause the civil trials are tried by judges and the criminal ones a jury.
*yawn*
I could have sworn this thread was about music!
Bit of a shame people can't seem to distinguish between the music and the controversy surrounding the person who made it...

I'm 100% with you on this one!
what One Eyed Jack said.

And you -could- be MJ's competition and just @#!*ed that he got to those kids before you could. Which would explain your bitterness to him.
See what blatently labeling someone can do? I have no proof of you not being a <removed>, but I could really damage your repore by saying you are in my opinion, or that you could be! Hell, it might just make mothers hesitate to leave their children alone with you.......
In fact, I remeber a former thread being locked because you can't put your hatred of MJ to rest, and here you are, attempting to lock another. The thread went fine until the forth post down...
Honestly, just join a clan of some sort (in the traditional sense), that way you can hate anyone based on a simple whim, and have a fellowship who give you kudos for doing so.
Dark Half's above comment also explains the absurdity of this entire controversy.
In the same breath that people claim that MJ is [insert slander here] because of the accusations which have been placed against him, they are taking advantage of the basic laws of human rights which are being upheld in their country.
These people are clearly more or less aware of laws about not physically harming others, but may I remind them of what another of these laws is? I really hope I don't need to, but here goes: People are innocent until proven guilty.
That's right. By bashing Michael Jackson for going to court and winning, said people are failing to hold up the other end of the bargain which they have made to have acces such freedoms as they enjoy. In other words, they do not deserve to be citizens in their peaceful, free, safe countries. Freedom, contrary to a staggeringly popular belief, is not free. It requires that EVERYONE pitch in for the greater good of society.
People that do not wish to participate clearly should not be living in such a country. They should instead be deported to Antarctica where they may live with others who share their views. Perhaps there they will feel more at home.
Edit: Uhm... sorry if that came out a bit harsh. I'm in that mood where I can't be bothered to candycoat things....
I do not have this radical stance in the slightest for people who simply express the opinion that they tink Michael Jackson is weird and they are suspicious of him (hell, I think that too!), but the moment that they cross the line between personal beliefs and charater asassination, it is a problem.
Character asassination is considered harassment, which is (in the depressingly simple way we put it) not legal.
Oh, and I respect Michael's past work. He seemed to get a bit wacky, and I really wish he hadn't. Perhaps there's another lesson here? The horrible things that have happened to Michael Jackson because he was afraid of who he was (he had a skin disease which wasn't deadly but visualy unappealing, prompting him to go through plastic surgery... right? Otherwise... shucks. It had better be similar or my entire point here is gone) have far outweighed what would have happened otherwise.
He was a great performer, and it would have been fantastic if people had seemed more likely to him to not mind various things; then perhaps none of that would have happened. (Perhaps). I am sure that such a belief is actually popular today, as well. If only the people thinking such things also considered the idea that what's done is done, and what matters is now.
Hint, Hint
Thread incineration in Three... Two...
Ahhh, an MJ is good/bad thread! It's just like the good ol' days of Off Topic. :P
Still pointless, though. I think you'd find it easier to change someone's religious beliefs via this forum, than change their opinion of Mr. Jackson. :)
Picklesworth is right. I retract my prior statements.
However, while I do, and did, respect MJ's rights as a citizen, and wouldn't try to stop him from performing or even work with him on some future project, if he so chose. That doesn't mean because he was aquitted that means I should feel safe letting him take care of my children. I also have the right to trust and distrust anyone I want for different aptitudes.
I highly question the motives of those particular parents, for letting their kids stay with him in the first place. After the baby of the balcony incident and even the question of pedophilia.
MJ is very much off the deep end, and I wouldn't have put it past those parents to bait him. In the hopes that he would do something. I think, it was that very doubt that he got off on. If these parents were devious to bait MJ with their children, why not just say he raped them anyway when the plan failed and didn't touch the boys. The evidence spoke elsewhere, but it was that doubt that got him off.
All it takes is 1 person on the jury to be in doubt about his guilt.
Notice, in this thread I never said MJ should now be killed or anything.
Everything else I said about MJ and the trial are true... I retract my slander. Legally he is innocent and I do owe it to my country to uphold that. However much it hurts me to.
MJ should now be killed
I can't believe you said that DampeS8N! ;)
(hehe... selective quoting - I love it)
I move that any topic which bears the name of Psychotic Perverts (aka Michael Jackson) be as instantly removed from the forums as Politics and religion...
Once again, this topic was meant to be about music...
OJ is a prime example, found innocent in the criminal trial, but guilty in the civil trial. Why? Cause the civil trials are tried by judges and the criminal ones a jury.
No, because civil trials have a massively lower burden of proof. In a criminal trial, you have to be "guilty beyond all reasonable doubt" whereas in a civil trial, you only have to be guilty "on the balance of proof". So in a criminal trial you have to be ~95% certain and in a civil trial, you only have to be 51% certain. With the evidence presented, I think it's highly unlikely a judge would have called it any differently to the jury in criminal court.
Picklesworth is right. I retract my prior statements.
Thank you. It's one thing to say you dont agree with their ruling, its another to say he
is this or that just because you think he is...
I am not going to express my views on this topic (of MJ's affairs), because my opinion wont change the world, and it doesnt matter.
I did enjoy his past work, and he made a huge impact on the music industry. As for being a strange person, I wont say anything against that, as he is somewhat strange in my eyes (but there are many artists that are strange as well).
I highly question the motives of those particular parents, for letting their kids stay with him in the first place
There is where some of the truth might ly, who knows. I never let my kids stay anywhere unless I know fully well where they are staying. Meaning, unless I know the parents of 'Friend A' personally, then I wont let them sleep over there. Its not a matter of trust, more of preventing something by which I cannot control and have little knowledge of. To do otherwise, be the person famous or not, would be irresponsible and not that of a good and loving parent.
Thank you though DampeS8N for opening your eyes a bit (honestly). Granted, I dont want you to believe what I believe on the subject, just not slander it based on conjecture.
I've said in the past, DH, I admit when I am wrong. I am persuadeable, because I search for the truth. It doesn't take a good arguement to change my mind. It just takes proper logic.
Pickles logicly explained why what I was saying was wrong. Therefore, I changed my standing.
I only wish everyone did the same thing, the world would be better.
