Looks like some of them was inspired by Cthulhu. Got a nice lovecraftian feel.

This thread misses the 'islam' & 'USSR' notes - but otherwise you got it ;)

I also mentioned to the artist that the symbol looks like Turkey's flag (been there, really nice people there) and also mentioned 'islam' in the context. Also 'USSR' was talked about. Cthulhu was said by somebody (also in other forums) and that's true as well! It looks like Cthulhu :)

Anyway - we will get rid of that symbol and replace it with some japanese/chinese character (after all, the game has a japanese/chinese/eastern theme). So, no religious or other countrywise offence will be made :)

We will have eastern character, but not a bad idea :)

Really like the style - the monochromatic look would be nice carried through to the game proper.

Actually, we'll add some color :) But not a bad idea must say...
