anyone got a BT Voyager 2091?
Can you please tell me the output voltage and amps of the power adapter please as a friend of mine's wife has cleaned out his house and taken the adapter and left the router.
thanks.
woo thanks man. AC not DC, that's pretty weird. What's the Amps?
It has 1000mA besides the 12vac part, not sure if that refers to amps or not?
<GfK^> someone tell grey alien to stop listening to antony wells - its 12v DC, 1A.
GfK asked me to tell you that.
thanks DonnieDarko . 1000mA = 1A.
Thanks Noel. Secondary result makes me happy. And DC confirmation makes me think the world is normal again.
:-)
Mine's Ac. Gfk's lying of course. He's like that.
Oh, "DonnieDarko" is "Anthony Wells" - I didn't know that.
Just a quick note, make sure that the polarity is correct on the replacement adapter, it is common practice for some manufactures to use the outer of the connector as +V, whereas most commerical replacements use the inner as default.
Although any decent replacement will be switchable.
I cannot tell you the configuration of the router in question though, maybe someone who has one could check.
yeah thanks Chevron. Think I'm gonna win an original one on ebay anyway.
Donnie Darko. Yeah it's normall starts at 220V AC then converts to 12V DC. Maybe you misread it? Or your router has special secret powers.
