i wanted to beat the spring rush... this is a preemptive April Fools Joke strike...
i looked at the first one... took a look through the code... seems clean and modular enough to merge with my lil OOP thing here... i already am exempting stuff from the cubemapper as you do in the demo... the main difference is that you've implemented a neat clipping plane, which is the right way to approach this,, and i replace the exempted objects with the top half of object... which is the lazy man's way to do it :)
right now i'm adding my interior and controls to the game, so i'm in that mindset... later today i'll take some more time with your stuff...
oh yeah, thanks an awful lot for taking the time with this...

Reminds me of Null's April Fools trick over on BC ages ago... He posted a link claiming it be the trial version of BlitzMax. When you downloaded the setup file, it turned out to be a window with a April Fools message on!
Funny at the time, but it caused an outrage! LOL

I'm still trying to get over Fredborg(?)'s April Fools code snippet that seemed to plot random pixels, yet spelt out 'BlitzMax'. Boy, did I feel like a prize chump when I eventually realized what was going on. :/
