Gorgeous Indie Game

Was checking out IGF and came across this awesome looking game called crazy ball. Kind of like marble blast. And I thought OMFG that looks gorgeous.






When I got to their web site I saw they had a sequel already which made the previous game pale in comparrison.





Talk about shaders :) and it uses Ageia Physics. Looks like they have the best looking indie engine built inhouse for PC and Xbox 360. Wonder if it will be competing with GG's Marble Blast Ultra on the 360?

Seems to be a lot of programming tallent in Sweden, must be the long cold winters, everyone stays at home and codes all day ;P

I tried it out. It looks really good, but the gameplay sucks... hope they improve it...

That does look nice, Better than MB ultra IMO.

the gameplay would be better with a gamepad, mouse control is a little on the sucky side. I like it a lot better than MB too.

Yeah. You'd think for someone blatantly plagiarizing rock'n'roll they would have started by copying the control scheme. Someone buy them a trackball.

Don't get me wrong, it's a neat game, and yes the graphics are aesthetically wonderful, but it's furiously frustrating someone with so much talent, would make such crippling mistakes.

Yeah, there's lot's of these really great tech demos, which then are turned into a game with a bad gameplay. It seems, that the better the engine, the suckier the gameplay...

Hope they consentrare heavily on the game now instead of creating more filters ;)

Yeah, haha. It came out of nowhere in an E-mail I wrote about a mates game idea. I ended up making a design of my own too! Honest :D
