does anyone remember jungle jim?

That's the one where you swing on ropes, jump boulders, stab crocs etc., right? I used to play a 'version' of it call Jungle King. Quite a good laugh.

I don't see there being a problem doing a 're-make', as long as you don't do a straight-out copy of the original.

Swinging on ropes and jumping is pretty generic gaming stuff.
