As for debt, i'm already in debt. little late to be worrying about it now
Bad answer, I got into debt, and I'm just pulling myself out of it now, and it's been a bloody nightmare!
I got into debt before I met my current girlfriend (Which we've been together for three years now), I had the same idea, as in 'F%£k it, you only live once', but when baileffs come knocking, letters spewing through the door, trying to explain to her that I'm not going to lose the house (Even though I was in two months of arrears, and couldnt afford the third)... It weighs on you... heavily! :/
Now, I'm arrears free, no 'give me the money' letters, and definitly no bailiffs banging... I still owe some money, but not that much now, and since I'm paying, I only get nice 'Thank you for your payment' letters! Which definitly feels better! :)
And all it took, was a little purse string tighting, and if I wanted something I knew I couldnt afford, then I just had to lump it!
Once my debt is paid off, my girlfriend said she'll take 25 notes out of my pay a week, and when I've got some decent money to spend, I can build/buy whatever system I want!
"Not long now", Well, that's what I tell myself!!! :)
So dont be tempted to dig yourself in too deep Ant, it's not worth it!
Dabz
P.S. Still, you can tell me to @#!* off, then I can say 'okay then, I saw an advert on TV for a shop that sells stuff for the home, including PC's', its called brighthouse and they charge a mouth drying 29.9% APR... Or get a provident loan, and at 50% APR, it's an absolute steal!!! (I had one of them by the way... ouch!!!)
;)
