Hopefully the topic title is self explanatory. I'd like some .map Half Life 1 files to play with in 3D World Studio, but every one I download is in .bsp format. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Pretty much nobody in the mapping 'scene' releases the .map version of their maps since that's the 'raw' format (so to speak), and would allow anyone to produce their own version of the map without permission.
The best you can do is e-mail the authors.
