BlitzMax & 3d

I've been away from blitz for about a year and I don't see any sign of the BM 3d module , anyone know if its actually still in development ?

Legally Blitz have no right to announce a product that they do not have ! I'm suing, i've got development work i've promised I could deliver because Mark promised he would deliver! AND HE DIDNT DELIVERY AND NOW I CANT DELIVERY NEEVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason Max3d is taking so long is because 3dRealms is secretly using it exclusively to produce the "when it's done" rendition of Duke Nukem Forever, and will be released 6 months after for purchasing after the exclusitivty has ended.

I dont get it why people dont just move to max and Irr or ogre or some other engine, or just to a different engine.

because people are tooooooooooooooooooooooo lazy to learn blitzmax and then learn how another 3d engine works. DUH!!

from thier point of view its like asking them why dont they learn c++ or c# and directx or opengl.

It will be released 2 days after the release date of the date and time in question, but not 3 days nor 4 days , five days is a maybe.
It will be realesed on cd after going Gold, but wont be avalible for purchase until then.
unfortunatly this makes it never be avalible, probably has something to do with Marks omni-present existance.(living when , now and never (not)at the same time) so things got a bit screwed up.
in all probablity Noel will turn into a large dancing Cornbread mule before this happens...ofcourse weve already seen that once(last month during the olympic ski jump finals)...so I predict the release of max3d to be Sooooon..nay sooner than soon!

On a serious note, i'd just like to say that ColdSteel is coming along very very nicely and as an insider i can tell you to watch out for that engine as it develops into the next blitz3d.

Who knows what the 3D module will let you do, since the 3D module itsn't out out yet.

But realistically: BlitzMax already comes with a 2D module... and its 2D is really 2D-in-3D (You need a 3D accelerated graphics adapter, but get all the fun stuff such as scaling, rotating, alpha blending, etc.), so I guess that's a "yes"
