Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Whats going on at BRL? They're trying to get the undead nun unchained from the wall.
Probably still working hard at Max3D thing.
In fairness it is a long, hard, job to produce - tons and tons of testing and rewriting code - tweaking stuff, then several days later realising the tweaking was a waste of time.
Hopefully, they will at some point turn their attention back to Blitz3D in time to take on Cobra.

Probably trying to sort out the bugs in Blitz3d 1.94 so Cygnus can use it in his project. h, heh just saw 1.95 is out :)

Nobody But Mark and the other bloke (sorry forgotten his name) knows what's going on and after much prompting for just a sliver of information they remain completely silent.

Mark posted a couple of weeks ago with a progress report, of sorts. Something about him needing quiet time to sort out how to organize stuff in max3D, er, I can't quite remember coz I'm not interested in BlitzMax.
Anyway, just search through his most recent posts and you'll find it.

Max3D is coming along, but is at kind of a strange point at the moment.
I know how to do all the neato stuff I want to do, but am struggling a bit with how to present it all as a dead cool, multi purpose game engine API. I'm confident it'll happen, but it will require some serious 'quiet time' on my part.
I do plan on releasing little demos here and there as devlopment progresses (and a public 'beta test' of sorts is not completely out of the question), but really, it's still too early to be thinking about this stuff at all.

I think "Mark Sibly" should have a webcam - then we can watch what he is doing.
