According to their website it works with BMax... Anyone tried it?

Yeah man, where have you been? :)

GMan's written a really nice wrapper for this. I fiddled with it myself to make it much more B3D-like. It's quite nice for some things, and the interface is well-designed. It has some gaping holes though. Namely the lack of multi-mesh support ( recently addressed ) and the lack of vertex colors. For me, an engine which offers pixel shaders, vertex shaders and built-in physics but can't use vertex colors has it's priorities set all wrong.

Best way is to try it and see if it meets your needs. If it does all you need technically, I'd say go with it, because it's dead simple to use, just as easy as B3d but with a bit more eye candy. But bear in mind that it does have those BIG "gotchas" which will cause you no end of trouble IF you need them.

and the link to the wrapper is here under GameEngines.
