I'm feeling incredibly generous so, for the whole of this month (that would be March), will be giving away free copies of any of the games on Binary Sun (including the ones not made by me - yes I have permission from the authors)

Grey - I mentioned it on indiegamer but until now hadn't mentioned it here. It doesn't have to be an indepth review - Just something worthwhile (no "it's good" or "it sucks" reviews).

I thought it was a simple idea as well. I just need to get the ball rolling with a few reviews on popular sites to get the news out there. I've done quite a bit of publicity but it doesn't seem to be helping at the moment. I'll get there in the end though...

Maybe if there was some sort of self service publicity system in place that needed beta testing. That might do the job...

Wordpress roxx. I've been using it for nearly a year now and it's been nothing but good to me. In fact part of the reason for Binary Moons popularity (I get about 4500 page views a day at the moment) is wordpress and the theme I made for it (which is currently in use on roughly 6000 blogs around the world)

Now that's a fine idea.....What do you know about RSS and the like, regarding the sharing of news content?

SO, scuse me for boing doh. But is wordpress this blog "engine" that everyone is using that looks real nice etc. Guess I could WIKI it. Too ... lazy ... to ... type.

Indie - what do you want to know about rss? Are you trying to create it yourself or do you want to ake use of it on your blog. Wordpress takes care of all the feeds for you, just look for the red icon with the sound wave pattern, in the address bar. I would suggest turning on permalinks which will make the urls human readable rather than giving long convoluted query strings.

Grey - Wordpress is a blogging software/ cms that let's you control your entire website through a control panel rather than having to get down and dirty with the code. How it looks is down to the theme you use, and if you're like me you can create your own.

Regular - that's a shame - you could always set one up? :)

@Ben, I was thinking more along the lines of IGB and RSS.

Ah ha - well it's pretty easy to make. No-more complex than a standard html page, in fact it's probably easier.

I just put RSS onto my blog but it doesn't work properly in Avante Browser under XP, it works fine on Safari on the Mac though. I wonder if it's a bug in the RSS code, or just a lack of support for RSS in Avante.

Anyway, that's a nice idea Binary_Moon, but I dont think me reviewing would help you - sadly the theme of my blog just isn't compatable with doing favours... It's me v the world, and as it's a one sided tale, I win...
