http://ofusion.inocentric.com/Seem's to be free too. What kinds of experiences have people had with Ogre? I always overlooked it since it appears to be a render engine.

Ogre's a pretty cool rendering engine. The community has a raft full of additions such as physics engines, audio engines, plus heaps more. My only problem is that is was too large for anything I wanted to do with it, but for someone doing a full out project it would be the perfect choice,
I have heard that it is slow- Thats why Ive not even tried it yet. I'd be interested in seeing what everyone else thinks too. :-)
Too generic for my needs (that is, it tries to do everything, and because of this it can't really appeal to a lot of people [myself included]). This same problem comes up with Irrlicht and the vast majority of other engines. It's a good generic rendering engine, but you have to remember that using something generic for something specific is easier said than done.
