I think this website thinks 2006 is a leap year because all the posts from yesterday (28th) are listed as being posted 2 days ago! :P
2006 is not a leap year
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/2006 is not a leap year Yeah, I spotted that, too. Wahey :)
Not a lot of people know that althoug leap years are every 4 years, they are not on Centuries, even though they are divisible by 4 UNLESS the century is divisible by 400. So 2000 was a leap year, but 2100 won't be. I had to code a date system for an accounts package hense the useless knowledge.
Now, WTF did I know that?
I'm often amazed at the useless crap my brain seems to store. |oD

that doesnt make any sense at all to me. A leap year is every four years, exepct for say 2100, so then the leap year is after 8 years? so 2104 is the next leap year after 2096? Ouch my head hurts. :(
Saw it a couple of days ago, Good ol New Zealand GMT time :)
Yup. very 4 years except every 100 years except every 400 years.
you ever meet someone who is born on the 29th of feb who claims they are like 5 when they are really 20 etc?
Tell the ijit no sweets before dinner and especially no sex.
My aunts wedding aniversary is on the 29th of febuary.
My uncle has a weird sense of humor thought it might be fun.

Agamer: It's just so he only has to shell out on aniverary syuff once every 4 years, smart, I might have to try that.
Good question Wolron.
except for centuries, then the 'anniversary' is every 8 years i guess. Should it really be called anniversary since it means happening every year, which it most certanly does not? -lol, i am not posting in this thread anymore- too confusing
