Anyone have VividGL that Antony Released

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Anyone have VividGL that Antony Released

Anyone got it, I was looking for it but all the links I found were dead,

Thanks.

Yes I have a copy that I licensed from Ant.

That is no use to you though as I am the licensed owner and you are not, sorry.

AFAIK, Antony released Vivid as freeware.

It doesent seem to work anymore with the latest version of Blitz3D.
(Not for me anyway )

I have to respect the original conrtact, it was made for a reason.

Nope, not freeware any more - I've sold loads since it was made freeware.

hey Leiden... you might want to look at Jed's Game Engine... it's got a lot of 'stuff' that Viv was promising... and it's still alive...

Yup, no worky at the present time, sadly :(

And yes, it was made freeware. As was Trinity 3d.

I think it would be worthwhile to start playing around with Trinity3d, which is his BMax OGL 3d engine that may still work. It's definietly fixable, anyway, since we actually have the source for the whole thing in native BlitzMax!

Red & Mister Picklesworth, I looked for both but couldnt find anything. Could you provide some links. Thanks

The engine Red is talking about is linked on my signature. http://www.coldsteelengine.com

Looks Good, I'll take a looksie.

Yeah, Ant, so much promise, so little anything!

I personally found him to be all right, knew a lot about Blitz, but then, when he was under the strain of his own promises, he'd go to bits*!!!

Shame really

*Flame retardent suit maybe required for that!
