An interesting video showing how fifteen different people play the first level of Gradius... simultaneously.

It's kind of neat, from a game design perspective. You could record a bunch of people playing your game, and play it back in this same manner, and figure out where people are likely to be at any point so you can design attacks to target those areas. :-)

Unfortunately, it would only work easily with games on rails like this, where you're forced forward at a specific rate. Maybe though, you could record positions of players in an FPS at specific intervals, and stick colored transparent models at those locations and then walk through the level to see where they traveled.

I can't download it :(
Instead I get loads of stupid google web download things.

[edit] Aah found it on the main website
Here's a link of mine in return :)

Gradius V is the best Gradius yet, and it's 2 player coop too :) Best shooter on PS2 (R-Type Final second, you should check that out too)

How odd. I posted last night that I just won Gradius V for PS2 on ebay for £8 and was well pleased and that the page was very interesting, and my post seems to have disappeared. Did anyone else see it?

I saw it. (no joke)

Well I saw it cos I replied to your response.

Perhaps Blitz Research were so envious, so annoyed that you'd won Gradius V on ebay; a totally classic shoot-me-up available for the PS2 for such a low cut~down price of 8 pounds that they decided to take immediate drastic action and delete your post damning it to the depths of internet hell in an act of extreme rage and UTTER TER~ROR!!!

yeah exactly what I thought, funny that.

Did you post it in this thread? I saw your post, but I don't remember where.

I thought it was this thread but I could messed up. Enay replied to it tho'

Grey that might have been me... I deleted the Enay / OneEyeJack handbag fight posts and might have deleted yours by accident. Sorry.

OK, never mind.

There was a fight? I didn't get to see that.
Ah well, I'm sure I'll survive.
