Does UK Games work on Jap XBOX 360?

I just wondering if UK games or USA games will work JAP XBox 360 Console....

please let me know...

From what I've read, region encoding of games is the decision of the developer/publisher, and isn't enforced by Microsoft, so in other words, some games may have it, some dont, Call of Duty2 is one that doesnt iirc.

But then again....I have to see what PS 3 and Xbox games got then I will decide which one to buy :)
