Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/ColdSteel version 0.9.1 and demo version released!

Version 0.9.1 of the ColdSteel SDK has been released. Changes are:

- Added string functions documentation.
- Added vector functions documentation.
- Added matrix functions and documentation.
- Added joystick support.
- NT_PARTICLES node type replaced by NT_EMITTER.
- Fixed a bug in csMeshFree(), which caused a program crash when trying to load a mesh which you loaded and freed before.
- Collision system heavily enhanced! (NodeCollision() removed, check the new collision and camera commands).

You can grab it from the private area.

The demo version of the SDK has also been released for you to play with. It's fully functional, except that the renderer will only work for 5 minutes, and saving is disabled in the Material and Particle editors, and the engine logo will be visible in the bottom right corner of the screen. Get it from the download section of the ColdSteel webpage.

"You can grab it from the private area" ;-)

are you going to put the manual online?
I want to know if it has moveentity

Errr, the demo SDK and the temple demo have the same address... I can't get the SDK.

Have bought torque 1.4 recently, anyway, nice update tho, will try it when get home.

Excellent! Now that we have MatrixInvert i can finally get those water shaders and stuff to work. I hope i'll have time tho :( i want to show off haha

This is a great engine btw, no code examples though, but i'm working on that as well (unoficially). You can learn a lot from it and by the time BMax3D comes out you'll be on top of everything.

Yes, the temple demo and sdk demo are the same files....

Oops! Sorry guys. Now the link to the SDK demo is fixed ;).
