Hi Matt, those figures sound pretty impressive. Can you please answer a couple of questions for me.

- Is it 3,000 or 5,000 hits per day?
- Are we talking unique visitors?
- What's the visitor demographic? Are these people developers or potential game buyers? What's the split?
- How are you tracking the visitors? are you tracking IP? are you setting a cookie to prevent double counts when a user IP changes? Are you discounting images links, RSS feeds and the like?
- Do you account for double counting?
- What do the visitors do when they get to the site, where do they go from the front page? is there a better place for me to have my advert located? like maybe on the top of "General Discussion"?
- Do you have anticipated ctr numbers?
- What would I get if I sponsored you site?

At the very most we've had 5,000 page views per day. At the very least (aside when the site was moving) we've had around 2,000 page views per day.

Demographic would be other game developers along with gamers. For instance, stormclouds advertisement for RPG games received the highest CTR in one week as opposed to a hosting service and a shmup itself.

the page views are how many times a whole page is viewed. We get roughly 50,000 hits a day (when you count everything)

We usually have around 20 visitors online within the past 60 minutes all through out the day with a peak of 40, sometimes 60 (rarely)

I do not have anticipated ctr numbers as this program is relativily new.

One of the most important parts about this is that the site is still in it's infant stage and will most likeley double in size soon. As the size of the site increases, so will advertising costs. But if anyone subscribes to the 4.95 a month rate, they lock that rate in for as long as they remain uninterruptably subscribed.

Thats our current stats, keep in mind it has our average page views per day are at 3600, with over 80,000 since Jan 1st. Although the averages where higher a few days ago. Considering the site was down for about 48 hours to a large group of people this was to be expected. The site was down only because we switched servers and had to wait on the Internet to update the DNS stuff.

Remember, this site has only been open since December 22nd 2005, and we've had roughly 125,000 page views (and near a million hits)

More growth is anticipated.

How many advertisers so far?

And I know you've answered this already somewhere else... Assuming a daily hit rate of 3000, how many placements can you guarantee me 1) Now, and 2) When the number of advertisers increases.

And how much for a permanent "Sponsor" advert?

There are currently Two advertisers onboard.

The banner has a probablility of showing each advertisers banner evenly.

I'll explain:
The maximum advertisers on the banner are 5. So everyone gets a 20% chance of beeing seen everytime someone views another page. I will guarantee you a 20% chance everytime someone clicks somewhere on the site. However, if there are less than 5 advertisers onboard, each receives a higher probability rating.

Not sure what you mean by permanent sponsor advert? You mean a banner that always stays the same?

Well, I'm looking for 5 advertisers for the 468x60 banner. As time goes on, I'll probably have more banner options (banners in different subjects) and perhaps skyscrapers on the side, etc. I'm not planning on adding additional advertising options until later.
