3d studio question: b3d import

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/3d studio question: b3d import

Does this import .b3d meshes yet?

http://www.leadwerks.com/index.php?page=features.htm

I was looking at the demo version, and i was wondering maybe if that webpage was out of date. Does it import .b3d files yet?

Surely someone round here must use 3d studio?

Ross,

I think there is a .csm loader only at the moment. You may be able to export a 3d studio max model in csm format (of old) but I dont think there is a b3d import - and I dont think Josh is going to write one either, but I could be wrong.

Isn't that kind of pointless? I mean, if your working in Blitz3d, you would probably want to drop your models in. Oh well, thanks for the reply man :O)

The program exports .b3d, but does not import it at this time. I recommend using the .x or gile[s] .gls format right now.

There hasn't been much of a request for a .b3d importer, but maybe I will add that after I finish the .dbo exporter I am working on now.

Thanks for the consideration Halo :o)

Halo,
Cheers - I think I may find that useful too - when I finally purchase 3dws - the terrain generation is ace by the way!
