on the CoD front, I've been practicing with tanks in multi-player so maybe if IPete2 wants a Base Assault I'll be a little better this time.

Me too, but I'm still rubbish! Did take out one tank with bazooka from a top storey window though, which was a laugh. Also managed to blow up one base by myself, but most of the time I can't get near.

100% invalid. Anyway I believe that cod has been overfished and that's why plaices ;-) do more alternative fish now.

It has been my daughter's birthday this week - and this weekend (Saturday) we will be out havig a party at my Mum's - so I can not make Saturday night. But Sunday night is mainly free if that's okay with you guys?

I have no clue where my CoD1 disk is, but I have a better idea where the CoD2 disk is :)

(CS:Source is probably posessed by 90% of people here, btw... though it isn't quite as excellent multiplayer as CoD)

I don't have CS for some reason. Got Half Life of course.

Pickle: We've been playing CoD: United Offensive (the mission pack) as it has tanks and jeaps in it. Do you have this? If not, maybe we should just play CoD2.

I don't have UO. But, since my participation would cause a swap to cod2, which would bump out at least two people, you guys can go ahead without me :)

boo hoo, well OK then, thanks for the generosity. However, get hold of UO via EBay bet it's cheap now. Also IPete2 and Avon ought to get CoD2 now, it's a great Single Player game too!

Have been keeping an eye out, trying to get CoD2 cheap. What annoys me is how THIS kind of thing isn't policed more by eBay. The number of copied games on there is insane.

No, honestly, Ebay dont seem to police much at all. Its a shame they dont police Ebay itself as much as hey police Paypal!

Amazing, that link is BLATANT, I've seen people advertising "Backup CDs" (in the small printout) that still go for £10! What annoys me is that if I want to buy a bona-fide copy to add to my collection, you have to read really carefully all the text in case you are buying a pirate copy by mistake! I actually bought a DVD of Justice League for my son and when it arrived it was a copy, you could just tell by everything about it and it was £15! I emailed him and got a full Paypal refund, which was good. I've never watched it as I tried it and the quality was compressed and horrible, lower than VCD quality.

Yeah thanks dudes, I enjoyed Base Assault as I've now got the hang of it. Next time I should be half-decent. Also the Team Deathmatch was good. Took me a while to warm up, but I got it in the end. Used to play Quake III and Unreal Tournament a lot but the skills really slack after a while!
