Ah, it appears that they posted it tad too soon, so I'll take it off [linky and images] too for a while... sorry!
ok?
Bah... it's nothing my Spectrum couldn't do! ;)
Actually, I think that Spectrum doesn't even have enough colors to show a screengrab... ;P
Bah, I thought it would be a thread about 'Oblivion'.
Still, with my new Radeon X800 XL card - I'll take this 3DMark thing and lesson it.

Was this made in Blitz3D or Max then? Of Maybe Blitz Plus with a software render?

I think it was made with DBPro. Or maybe a version of DBPro that we don't know about. This may actually be a conspiracy. I must investigate...................
Actually, I think it was done in a Spectrum emulator but with the RAM maxed out. Each frame takes 4 months to render hence the 3 screenshots above.
sweet :)
Dont be stupid guys, you know full well this was done on an Amstrad web phone.
I do feel myself inclined to say "so what" though, I know my PC is slow, I dont need to overheat it with a benchmarking tool to prove the point...
yeah, Its coming.
it came,
It went.
10 second wonder.
Next year there will be another one. :)
well it does look nice, but for me, I really need to see game to appreciate it in "action" so to speak. But I'll probably have to wait a year or two for a better PC/graphics card and of course a game that uses the technology.
You know, in the 3rd picture with the water in it. If you look at the right-hand side - where the cliff meets the roof-tops - I swear I can see a sausage flying in the air.
You like sausages, right? Do they make you Large it?
Sausages make him large. So does bacon.
It could be a sausage .... but it could be worse!
It's my flying boat. $10 a ride.
pffft, i expect this will be another nice looking slideshow until new hardware appears.
