Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/offset Yep I've seen it. It's pretty neat. Though I think the only
thing this engine does that the unreal engine 3 doesn't
already do is realtime subsurface scattering.
Honestly, as much as I love this stuff, I can't wait until the
law of diminishing returns is so strong that people stop
caring.
That day will be a golden age for gaming. Mark my words.
Still cool though!

yeah it looks cool. Would be nice to see a finished game though.
Yeh, I took a snifter at this a couple of months ago - looks pretty neat.
It looks pretty cool, but I want to see an actual game with gameplay thats more than were accustomed to. Anyone with a little talent can make cool looking realistic graphics if they spend a few months on a tech demo.
Particularly if the engine supports most of the things artists are used too using for pre rendered video. It's the interactive side of things and gameplay that make a game different and more chalenging.
I'm already bored with fancy engines, and want to see interesting games. I love graphics but it takes more than that to keep me interested for more than 5 minutes.
