If anyone can come up with a logo for 3D World Studio that I like, I will pay you for use of it. I am in kind of a hurry.

I can't make one but I can think of one if it will help anyone else to make it.

Basically the words "3D World Studio" are made of buildings and other general architecture infront of a globe.

Tell you what, if you like the design I'm whipping up, buy me a copy of the Scrubs season 1 DVD boxed set.

Hey Mark, that looks pretty good. Do you think you could do something that just said "3D World Studio" with that grid kind of in the back? The letters would look better if you used a font that wasn't so "fat".

I was thinking make a flat surface with a design etched into it:


Frankly, I like markd's better though. Mine are too weird. If you like the direction I'm going I'll keep working on it. Otherwise, so long Scrubs... *sniff*

A logo has to reproduce well in black and white and at small size.

The best test is if it would still be recognisable after being photocopied several times.

markd's are very nice. I would make some myself, but I'm too lazy. I might be able to make one Tuesday, if you don't have one already.

Yeah, this is one of those things that we all think we could do if we could only be bothered.

I like the idea of a mesh overlayed on a globe. No offence, I just think it could be done a little better, Azathoth. :)

Here is what I want.

This background, with the glow around the letters, but the grid should be trimmed vertically, so it isn't so tall. This logo needs to fit on the CD itself:



Then I want a more "normal" looking text, with a silvery gradient, sort of like The Game Creators font:

This looks perfect. Can you reproduce it at extremely high resolution? Also, can I get the text and grid layers in two separate layers? That way I can blend the grid into the background, and have solid text on top of that.

I got your email, and I will do what you suggested, if I use this. I have a guy showing me some concepts tomorrow morning, so maybe wait until after I see those before making the final adjustments I asked for above.

Specifications for Cover & Inlay Printing

Please supply your artwork in one of the following programs - Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Quark Express or a pdf file that has fonts embedded.
Please supply graphics at least 300dpi. However, if the resolution is too high, we may have trouble printing. Avoid images larger than 30 MB.
The cover size is 120 x 120mm, while a booklet to be folded is 120 x 240mm.
Both require 3mm bleed, and cut marks.
Inlay card size is 118 x 150mm, allowing for perforations or folds at 6mm and 144mm, giving a 6mm folded spine section at each end. 3mm bleed is required.
Colour artwork must be supplied CMYK, NOT RGB.
Please do not show printable border lines.
Colour matching is often accurate, but not always possible.
We recommend the client seeing a colour sample of laser printed artwork before we start production. This may add to the turnaround time. A colour sample of commercial press printing is not possible.
Changes to the artwork may also add to the cost and turnaround time
