Hi all,
Lua is said to be a scriping language. If it is used in Blitz3D, will it slow down Blitz3D?
Thanks in advance.

:)
Hi Sammy,
i use Lua mainly for configuration purposes in the beginning of the game/app. And since you cannot register Blitz3D functions with Lua its usability in the mainloop ist somewhat limited. I haven't made any speed tests yet. I am reading and loading a whole bunch of params and it works fast enough for me. The pro for Lua is that there is no need to hardcode variables.
But for your question, it's still beta and will ever be, i only have very few feedback with this, so try for yourself and give some output then.
