Yeah, Miami Vice on the Spectrum... what an awful game. Published by Ocean, who had a string of rubbish TV tie-ins (such as Street Hawk and Knight Rider). All I remember is a top-down (like GTA1) driving section, which was nigh on uncontrollable. Every 2 seconds you'd touch a piece of scenery and blow up.

Someone did that with my laptop in Burger King at Waterloo once. The joke was on them though as the laptop was used for demos of the company's software and it was a really low spec laptop not capable of running anything except our "optimised for Win95" software haha. Insurance paid out and we got a much better one, ah. Should eat there more often.

nice one, sounds like a good tactic that. Or learn martial arts of course. Wonder what what have happended if you had NO phone, would they have believed you or said "drop your trousers, I haven't looked everywhere yet" ;-)

Heh, truth is they were after my cash- which they got- A wallet with about £15 pounds in. The phone was probrably an afterthought.


Anyway, i'm about 9 stone heavier and a foot and a half taller now- I'd like to see them try again :P

I saw a cool trick in a kung fu film once and can confirm it works. You basically get out what they want and throw it at them, not violently, just at the right height to catch (chest height), and they will catch it as a reflex, it's at this point you land a massive punch right in the stomach or better solar plexus. Then when they double over, use your elbows on their head, then ... well I'll leave the rest up to you ;-)

They werent big, I can just sit on them now.

It may come to use sometime, but where I live if I dare take 1 step outside while wearing a computer on my back, it will get stolen so fast.
