Great Chip Music

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Great Chip Music

Here is a .zip of some great chip music that came from modarchive.com. Enjoy! Don't moan if you don't like chip music. This is the best stuff I could find!

You need to check out www.mono211.com - specifically the ST-00 and .mod soul brother. sections of the site =]

Thanks Grey Alien :)

Most of these mods sound utter cr#p on my player :( oh well, more bugs to track down! DOH

*EDIT* Thanks to you posting "xtd-ride.mod" I've just fixed Fasttracker 12 channel support, I didn't even know it existed :)

Cheerz for the link Toby. I still have my original ST-00 Amiga disk!

Papa: Sorry they sound crud on your player, they are great chip mods though, at least I think so.

I recommend "There's a guy works in our chipshop, swears he's Elvis" - Kirsty MacColl

Papa:XM supports channels in multiples of 2, you should know that! =] That's multiples of 2, not power of 2...

BJ: is that a joke only I fail to comprehend?

DOH, I forgot to leave out the fasttracker module when I compiled ModTracker :)

Please explain Toby, AFAIR I'm just reading the amount of channels from the file for xm, or am I misunderstanding you?

I haven't touched the xm loader for a while, it plays back with a copy of the protracker routine anyway, so it wont sound any good.

Your welcome to a copy of the source to play with if your interested Toby, you obviously know a lot more about xm than I do, TBH I've never even used Fasttracker :)

*EDIT* Oh no! I see what you mean, your talking about the 12CH Fasttracker in .MOD format thing?

Oh, sorry, you were talking about FT1... I didn't realise =]
