Skype Video Phone

Any of used the Skype Video Phone option? Is it any good?

Just used it to talk to my Mum in New Zealand - Sorry for waking you up mum - I forgot you're like 13 hours infront.

It's good, better than MSN rubbish.

what the videophone bit you used? How many FPS do you get?

yeah the beta videophone.

The FPS is crap, but that's more my cam than the speed of conneciton.

I've used it -- seemed pretty decent. I would guess I got about 10FPS (US -> Europe) in full screen._

...Actually, to clarify: Are you actually talking about the hardware videophone units, or the software-based Skype 2.0 client which does video conferencing on your PC? I've used the latter, not the hardware version.
