BZF file extension?

Hi Guys,
I reviewing some game written for Blitz3D with alot of BZF files.
What is this file extension?
I tried to find info and editors on the net but found only a little info and some brokent links.

maybe it is a (B)litz(Z)ip(F)ile format, i dont know !?
try to rename it to zip ; maybe you can extract it.

Have you tried opening the files in Notepad? A lot of the custom filetypes I use for my projects are text files with a new three-letter extension.
