Remote Desktop and Directx

I know that directx and remote desktop are usually mutually exclusive, but I ran across SOMETHING here or elsewhere out in the wilds of the internet that supposedly fixed that incompatibility at least partially... And now I can't for the life of me find it. Has anyone else seen this particular tool/driver/etc? And where the heck can I find it?

I'd sure like to hear about that as well. I've got any number of cacky old PC bits and bobs lying around but only 1 monitor. Remote Desktop gets used a fair bit on my LAN!
