PLayed Silent Hill 4?

I've played 2 and 3 (just finished) on PS2 and enjoyed them quite a lot although they can be kinda sluggish at times as well as totally weird of course. No. 4 didn't get spiffing reviews, but has anyone played it on PS2 or PC (is the saving different on PC?). Probably I should just get God of War instead ...

I've played 2 and 3 on the PS2, and 4 on the xBox. Event if it looks a lot like the previous episodes, it's still a great moment of gaming, and it's f** scary, too ! :-)

God of War is a great game, too.

Silent Hill 4 is pretty strange, not as good as 2 and 3 but still worth a look I'd say. I wouldn't buy any game for PC that is is available on your PS2.

Silent Hill4 is good if you liked the previous 3, only things I didn't like about it were the stiff character animations (although the models are just freaking gorgeous), and having to escort a player for the last half of the game which became a real nuisance.

If I were to decide on which game to get, I'd take God of War anyday though since it's really a fresh of breath air with its tight gameplay & interesting story, rather then being the 4th iteration of a franchise which needs to get itself a fresh coat of paint soon imo.

Anyhow, as for the PC/PS2 thing, unsure if Konami did a decent port, as their past history on Console->PC ports weren't the greatest, but for the saving, PC version supposedly allows you to save whenever you want.
(which imo takes some of the tension away in playing the game)

I'd go with the PS2 version, too.

hmm, OK, If I see it cheap Imight get it but meanwhile God of War it is!

hehe, go God of War for 12.99 today (used), had to search 3 shops, I reckon it had the wrong sticker on it as it was £25 in other shops and lots on ebay too.
