You should check out Bens other stuff too, Rocket Boards in particular is one of Blitz3D`s finest.

Great program. I use Particle Illusion which does the same kind of thing.

I couldn't see any png export with ExGen demo - does it exist?
I used ExGen to create a good looking fire for a project. Used the animation on a plain object in 3dsmax over a torch and it looked great.
Rob - There's no png export (or support for alpha) I'm afraid.
