I have no idea how to use the "Print Screen/SysRq" key on the keyboard, in all my years of computer work. Can anybody answer this question for me.

If anyone is laughing at that, I used to run a short course on how to use a mouse properly, it's amazing how many people don't know what they can do with it.

I taught my mouse to jump through hoops. His name is Sparky.
Print screen used to actually print the screen, but when Windows came around it didn't do it anymore.
Ooh! ooh! can he fetch!?
Alt+PrtSc will grab the currently active window instead of the whole screen. I use it a lot at work because it saves me having to export stuff from SAP and then formatting it into Excel.
Duh. You ignorant peasants...

VP beat me to it, Alt+PrtScn is very useful.
Ya have to push SHIFT+PRINT SCREEN to get the whole desktop... punching just the button in XP Pro (US Keybd) did nada... holding SHIFT WHILE punching popped it into view as a paste option in PSP X
Damn, wish I knew about the Alt+PrtScn combo years ago....would have saved me loads of time when taking screenshots of windowed programs.
Rook, a plain PrintScreen works for me. You're just being weird. =]
