Dear Santa Sibly,
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Dear Santa Sibly,
For Christmas I would like:
(1) Some nice well structured documentation for BMax
(2) BMax3D (which if need be I'll pay for)
(3) Anything else nice
Thanks
PS I'll settle for the nice well structured documentation with a gentle introduction to the language - as promised last year ;)
Yeah I'll pay for Max3D,too.
That's handy, coz you're gonna have to. :)
Let's play spot the loser. :)
If you've been bad this year you'll get a lump of minor updates in your stocking.

I tried. I've run out of paper already.
lets see now... Santa's Bad Lil Boys List... Enay, Gabriel...
... they'll be getting lumps of coal in their xmas stockings this year.

Lumps of coal and black leather masks with zippers.
What you're describing is a gimp mask, Noel... so I've been told. :P
*sound of whip cracking*
... please make my game sell even more!
Please worship me..
My Granddad still has a coal fire so coal will do nicely.
With the heating costs this year, put me down for coal ;c)
...and a partridge in a pear tree.
your Granddad... that wouldn't happen to be that guy they call Ebeneza Scrooge... now, would it...
i guess that would make you Enay Scrooge...
hey, don't make any plans for midnight xmas eve... seems like you're gonna need a lil more than a lump of coal in your stocking...
the ghost of xmas past will fix your... errr... attitude...
:)

BMax3D for Chritmas? I'm thinking May would be a better bet! Nobody in the know has told me that so I don't want people to take that as the gospel truth, it's just what I have surmised.
Max documentation? Now that would be nice! To wake up from the Max documentation nighmare and find everything nice and understandable without already having to know what the command is and how to use it, but of course if I did then I wouldn't be reading the documentation for that command!
*runs in*
Printed manual!
*runs away*
Maybe there should be a competition where a random command is chosen and the winner is the person who can make the most clear, concise example. BRL check the result and update the doc with it giving credit to the winner.
Alternatively, have a 'append' function where I can append to the doc without it being overwritten each makedocs (unless this is already possible?)
Anyway, for Xmas, I'd like peace in the world along with the abolition of hunger, poverty and oppression... oh, and simple imagebuffers.
BlitzWiki would be a good way to do this, if anyone could just go over there and document any command they like, but it looks like editing the command documentation is disabled :(
ipete2 - ever seen hotdocs?
now your can stroke your first wish :-)
