VideoGaiden: Games TV Show (featuring Naked War)
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/VideoGaiden: Games TV Show (featuring Naked War)
All 6 episodes of VideoGaiden can be streamed from the BBC website. Hopefully a new series will get the go ahead in the next week.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/tv/videogaiden/Naked War is featured briefly in the final episode.
That's pretty briefly cool John =]
I've been pretty dissapointed with VideoGaiden...Consolevania is better (and seems to be same people).
Cool, but I can't stand that show.
Yeah, well done, but I'm with Perturbatio!
Congrats John!
I might be out of touch but I pretty much hated all video game shows as they never quite delivered what I want. For example does anyone really care about those 3 minute competitions between 2 people on the show who you don't know and don't care about? Stuff like GamesMaster was dire.
Is this show on a digital BBC channel? I don't have digi TV which would probably explain why I've never heard of the show. :P
Congrats on getting NW featured, John.
It's a BBC Scotland show. Those with Sky Digital can get it. Although it's finished now so the point is moot.
Personally I love it. Their reviews are knowledgable and passionate. And the comedy hits the spot for me. The bit about Jay Allards makeover in episode six cracked me up.
I like this kind of humour, too. Kinda reminds me of the VIDZ show that used to be on, with the mental Welsh guy. That was even more off-the-wall and close-to-the-bone, though. T'was good. :)
Is that still streamable for UK residents only?
Yep. I'll see if I can find a direct link. Watch this space...
That show is pretty good. Although 100megs seems a bit overkill for a 10minutes. They really need to bring back Gamesmaster and Dominic Diamond. :)
Nice work Jon, glad the other games got a slagging on the show, they deserved it because they were clearly crappy.
They can't be 100megs each. I watched 3 episodes and my useage for that entire day was only 70megs.
Enay is talking about the direct link to Episode 6 which is 107meg (and excellent quality).
The streaming BBC versions are nowhere near that size or quality.
Oh, right. My mistake.
