I'm planning on making a tabletop playable version of the wargame I'm designing in Blitz so that I can test of game mechanics without actually coding it into the game.
I need to find a software program that will let me create a printable template for my game units(tanks, plane, etc) that have stats on them that are linked to a simple database. These printouts will be cut out and used as game peices on the table/map. I guess this would be similar to printing out Magic: The Gathering cards. There is a basic framework for each card, then the database would hold all the data for the card. The idea is that I want to be able to make changed to each element in the game as fast as posible without manually going through every print element and change the stats on the cards themselves in a program like photoshop.
Any ideas? Hope this made sence.
