Hi all,
I want to make a simple, quick to play, game or "mini" game with some constraints, listed
below, and was hoping, if people are willing, to get some ideas that might work with these
constraints.
Constraints:
2d playing field representing an interior whether it be a sci fi floorplan or a fantasy dungeon
or even a more contemporary setting - although graphically walls will not be visible only the
floor plan (although from a 3d perspective camera) and any objects/creatures/"things" that
'sit' on the playing field (whether they be people/animals/creatures/objects/keys/doors etc)
It is essential that the walls are not required to be modelled but should be implict by the design
of the 'floorplan'.
Line of sight/visibility/lighting & shadows should form an intrinsic part of the gameplay in some
manner with the preference being for a dimly lit environment, but not essential.
Gameplay should be short - possible to play sessions in a few minutes at a time (no more than
15).
Thanks,
Matt
