Grey Alien Games Logo (Pic heavy)

I have been considering altering my grey alien games splash screen on Xmas Bonus as it's a bit pants + kinda out of place. I made these, what do you like best? I like the B+W ufo one (better for action games) and the 4th one of the abduction (good for puzzle games). I considered using a grey alien head but everyone does that (or did in the 90s) so I think the ufo beaming you up to play games is better.

Anyway feedback is cool. Ignore the low res pics, I will buy the final pic and get it high res, THESE ARE MOCK UPS ONLY.

nebula, clouds and mountains are a bit cliche..

My suggestion(s) :-

Although 1 - 3 are kind of nice (I like 1 in particular), the 4th (ufo abduction) is definitely best for Xmas Bonus.

Indiepath: I downloaded your first image on my research mission, saw pic2 and realised it'd not a christmas hat! Thought 4 is a bit like GEOM!

I'm liking number 4, tried it as the game splash with a new "abduction" sound and it's cool.

I would go with #4 if I were to make the choice.

Indiepath's #1 picture with them standing more in a ten pin arrangement (wearing Santa hats) would look good. Especially for a splash screen. Could even add a nice line of text underneith the lowest standing alien.

(I'm a minimalist)

Suggestion: We came to abduct the human race, but stayed for gaming.

I prefer #4 :-)

OK, thanks for input, I'm pretty much decided on no 4 too but I'll leave the thread running for a few days.

I don't like the idea of a big photo for a logo much ;)

I used 4 thanks it works well, the big pics would have been for a splash screen that fades in rather than a logo, #1 might still work for a shoot'em up game or something.
