I just read about this in PC Zone - apparantly, the game downloads are legal.

Err, pardon me for questioning the legality of such a thing, but have you noticed that the site is a Comcast users webspace that just happens to be called /SupportCD/ ?

All the games on that site are in fact legitimately free. Dynamix released Tribes a while back for free, Wolfenstein ET has been free all along, America's Army was free since the beginning, Nexuiz is an FPS developed on an open source engine (that I contributed a skin to, so go download it), etc.
Basically, this site is legitimate.

All the software on there is free. Some of it is stuff I used or have used in the past. Nice to keep it all in one place, I usually just Google for it.

Chancing what? Don't be silly, there are "freeware lists" all over, this is merely another one, listing and linking to various "freeware" programs. You should also avoid Nonags.com, and all the other freeware sites as they list freeware too. Scary stuff, huh?
