Hi!

I just found a nice Alien Breed Clone for Pc.
Its named "Shadowgrounds". The game has only released in Germany and Finland yet and is priced around 28 €.

(The only demo I found so far is in German, but I'm sure they are working on other translations as well.)

Hardware Minimum!
CPU 800 GHz, 128 MB RAM, GFxCard with 64 MB RAM, Direct X 9.0c+

All Amiga or shooter fans should check this out. :)

350 MB demo? that's uh - pretty huge IMHO.

The screenshots look pretty neat. I'd definately download the demo if I wasn't using Linux.

Wow, pixels have gotten a lot bigger over the years!

octo: I see what you mean (after google image searching), head is bigger more "Alien" like on starcraft one.

My first thought was a Zerg Hydralisk from StarCraft:


(Especially the arms -- I looked at some snakemen screenshots too, and they don't seem to have the same scythe-shaped apendages like these both do?)

hahaha.. its the exact same view of it too... I'd say it was deff inspired not only by the hydralisk... but by that very picture of one...

Could very well be, there aren't very many hi-res hydralisk pictures floating around, this one seems to be the most common one you'll find.

Developers are thinking of releasing a level editor + tools.

This could be fun...
