The RumbleMat: Keyboard Mat and Mouse Pad outfitted with 1 or more vibration motor(s) and controller. This idea has been sitting on the shelf. Would there be any interest?
RumbleMat for Keyboard/Mouse + SDK
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/RumbleMat for Keyboard/Mouse + SDK It would make it too hard to control games.
*swipe* *runs*
actually, yes. In the mouse- would be quite cool for flight sims for instance, not that using a mouse for those would be recommended.
On another note, people who were to buy a rumblemouse? theyd buy a proper rumbling controller if they wanted feedback.
Yeah, itd be cool. Limited salability though :)

I've been looking for one of those. The MousePad will add rumble capability to any currently owned mouse or trackball. I have to find a keyboard w/ rumble keyboard.

I would prefer a rumblemat for under my feet or buttocks.

Sounds good, why stop at the feet & buttocks? "The Rumble Tumble Body Kit" - Strap on vibe-pads to limbs/torso/back for the full body impact experience. Add a whole new dimension to 3D fighters, FPS, and Sports Games. Gawd no. No no no no no no no. No.
A curve in the wrong place on a mouse can cause RSI symptoms within a week of use.
Feedback in a mouse has been done (Logitech iFeel) and that product failed almost as miserably as it deserved to.
Frank, a little more focus please ;-)
**EDIT** Frank, are you drunk?

Presentation is everything. A rumble mouse would suck caus it would vibrate and screw up sniping. I can think of another use for it though.

I reckon so, if it rumbles like a freakin earthquake! The vibration factor can be varied and directed via the SDK. I can think of another use for it though.
Please do share:) My Girlfriend may also find a use for one.
