Oggs and MP3s not looping

Hi, I'm using 1.42 and when I load an mp3 or ogg file with PlayMusic(ThePath$, 1) (the 1 is the loop flag) it doesn't loop! Yet modules such as .xm do loop!

Help!

Maybe I should try playing it as a soundfx?

OK well playsound(ThePath$, 1) seems to loop them. Weird.
