Buying BlitzMAX (Trying anyway)

Does anybody else think the form you have to fill in is @#!*e? City is a mandatory field, but yet many people such as myself don't live in a city. What do we put ay? further down I'm told my hotmail email address is no good for credit/debit information being sent to, even though they seem okay with that at play.com.

In the end I gave up assuming they didn't want my money.

You mean Share-It? one of the largest e-commerce providers in the world? The same company that millions upon millions don't have a problem with?

Dude - I am sure they will accept other forms of payment - just email Mark / BR explaining your situation... why post here like an idiot?

I haven't dealt with ShareIt lately, but online purchasing is getting truly obnoxious and intrusive.

They demand more and more information. And they are getting stricter about verifying that data. It used to be much easier to just fill in junk. When asked for a phone number I used to look for a contact number somewhere on their site and use that.

I understand that credit card fraud is an ever-worsening problem. But it is reaching the point where I don't make online purchases except from places where I already have an account and they don't ask for more personal data.

When a form asks for a city, I usually put in my town.

Hmm yes, largest in the world because we all know that means they must be a quality company with good products just like Microsoft and EA who are bywords for quality. So why upon reading my post which you thought was crap did you feel the need to better me by posted more crap?

You're right I shouldn't have posted though as I did so under frustration that your beloved ShareIt wasn't as good as other companies I've dealt with. I'll sort myself out later and dig out my old ntl email address and get buying Blitz MAX.

I ordered bmax @ share-it .. have to wait for reply, they prolly got my cash today, a saturday it is.. they're closed I guess..

When they ask for 'town' I fill in the name of the village I live in..
Ordered visual blitz before @ shareit .. experienced no problems.. actually I'm quite happy you can buy bmax @ share-it..!

I put my town in the city one too sod it!

What annoys me is "Select your state from the list". I don't live in the USA, thanks anyway.

They have alternatives for ppl with only free accounts - as it says on the site.

Much ado about nothing. If you think BRL don't want you to buy BlitzMax then maybe you should do as they please.

If you don't live in a city, maybe you should focus on improving your crappy country so that it meets the standards needed to fill in a freakin' Share-it form, instead of complaining they won't accept "the third sod hut past the dung pile".

I dont live in a City either so I put down the local town instead, I guess it saves them from putting fields in for Town, Village, Hamlet, Single House or Cardboard Box. :)

As for the State thing, I am sure there is an option at the bottom of the State list that says Non-US.

As yer Postcode in the UK is the most important part of yer addy, as long as yoo have that right yoo should get yer parcel, digital download approved and money taken from yer funds :)
